Marsai Martin may be young but she is nowhere near dumb. Her breakout film Little has reached No. 2!
The film which was produced by Will Packer and 14 year old Marsai has swept the nation already, pulling in about 15.4 million dollars from 2,667 locations nationwide.
The film stars the trio of Martin, Issa Rae and Regina Hall with Hall channeling a mean and bossy woman in charge. Her character is then transformed into her 13-year-old self (Martin) while being taken care of by her assistant (Rae). The film marks a milestone as a major comedy produced, written and directed by African-American women!
Our very own Angie Martinez bought out a movie theater to kick off A Little Challenge. She along with other stars supported the film it's opening weekend. Check out who popped out to see the film below!
